We are so incredibly proud of our 5/6 grade Drama kids. During their first Act of Snow White today, we experienced a power outage from the storm. The audience and students wanted to continue the show on just the backup lights, no mics, or stage lights. They were amazing!! Please come out tomorrow at 2pm and 6pm and watch the show. Proud to be Shawnee❤️🖤

Mrs. South’s kindergarteners have been working hard on their writing skills. This week they wrote good luck letters to two high school wrestlers who are heading to the state tournament! Our little learners were so excited to send their well wishes, and we hope our wrestlers feel the support from their youngest fans!
Good luck at state—we’re all rooting for you!

Preble Shawnee Regular Board of Education Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, March 4, 2025 will be starting at 5:00 PM (instead of the regularly scheduled 6:00 PM start time) to accommodate staff and community members who plan on attending the meeting but would also like to support our boys basketball team at their game that evening. The recognition of the cheerleaders and the presentation by Project Search planned for the March meeting will be postponed and take place at the April Board of Education Meeting.

The Kids Night Out that was scheduled for this Friday is postponed due to some building maintenance that will be taking place. More information on the next kids night out will be coming home soon.

The preschool students celebrated the 100th Day of school by dressing up as 100 year old men/women or in 100 day of school shirts. They got to sing and dance while counting to 100, listen to a 100 day of school read aloud and made a necklace out of 100 fruit loops!
