A precious Mother's Day project from Mrs. Holmes' kindergarten class: 🌼 they grew flowers from seed and kept a growth journal 📔 🌱

🎉 It was our 3rd and 4th graders' turn for a Zumba incentive today! This was earned by those students who received positive behavior marks in the month of April. Love seeing the smiles on their faces! 😀 👏

Mrs. Donson surprised her 4th grade students with Littmus Lozenges today! 😄🍬 They have been reading the book Winn Dixie and learned all about Littmus W. Block and his candy invention. Here’s a quote from the book about the candies: “It tasted like root beer and strawberry and something else I didn’t have a name for, something that made me feel kind of sad.” -Kate DiCamillo

🌟Elementary Staff Spotlight🌟 Ms. Cassandra Lanich Kindergarten Teacher “I have loved teaching 3rd grade last year and kindergarten this year. I love the connections and relationships built with all of my students and their families, and loves to make learning fun for the students in order to watch them grow socially, emotionally, mentally, physically, and academically.” Thank you, Ms. Lanich!

Paige House placed first in the state with her Dairy Production Entrepreneurship Proficiency! Paige’s project is raising dairy calves from a few days old to weaning to use as replacement heifers for a local Dairy farmer. Over the past 4 years, she’s raised 141 dairy calves. Paige’s application will be forwarded on to Nationals to hopefully compete at National Convention in October.

🎉 Two celebrations for our elementary students today! 🎉 A pizza reward 🍕 for those who achieved their "Read at Home" goal for the year, and a Zumba incentive for those who achieved positive behavior marks in the month of April. Great job, students! 👏

🌟Elementary Staff Spotlight🌟 Mrs. Pam Monnin Paraprofessional "In my role as a Paraprofessional, I've had the privilege of working in all three of the Preble Shawnee buildings for over 17 years. Each year has brought its own unique experiences, with some being more challenging than others. However, two things have remained constant throughout my journey: the incredible staff I've had the pleasure of working alongside, and my unwavering love for the children I've had the opportunity to assist. Knowing that I can make a difference in a child’s life is priceless to me.” Thank you, Mrs. Monnin!

The Preble Shawnee 🥁Band, 🎶Choir, and 🎨Art Department are having a Fine Arts Night on Tuesday, May 7th. This will showcase both our middle school and high school students. Come out and enjoy Arrows Fine Art night.

Fun happenings in preschool today! 🎉🐣 They have been patiently waiting for 21 days for their chicken eggs to hatch and finally one did this morning. 🐥🥚 They also had a special visitor! District parent Cindy Kramer brought in a baby lamb for the students to meet 🐑💕
