Good afternoon. The MS/HS building is currently conducting a lockdown drill. This is only a drill. This drill is designed to help both students and staff practice the procedures for a lockdown.
The goal is to ensure that everyone is familiar with the protocols so we can respond effectively in the event of a real emergency.
We encourage you to speak with your child about the importance of these drills and to reassure them that this is simply a practice to keep everyone safe. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us at (937)787-3541.
Thank you for your support in helping us maintain a safe and secure environment for all.

"PSMS 8th grade class is having a blast exploring DC!! 🏛️🚌
Making memories that will last a lifetime! 🇺🇸
🏕6th grade is excited for camp!! They had a meeting today with the camp director and asked great questions!!! Bring on the fun 😁 🌞
Just a few pics from Day One in DC. We stopped at the Flight 93 Memorial in Shanksville, PA on the way. It was an eye opening experience for our students as they listened to some of the voices and saw pictures from that day... Upon arrival to Washington DC, we visited the Pentagon Memorial where Flight 77 came down. After discovering the lack of knowledge, we are starting to place more emphasis on educating our students about 9/11.
We finished the day with dinner and shopping at everyone's favorite mall. As you can see, we are starting to work on our DC attire. Looking forward to Day Two and the adventures it may bring!
...and they're off! Wishing safe travels and good times for our 8th graders who are headed on the 44th Annual Washington DC Trip!
This evening, the Talent Show took place at the MS/HS. There were a total of 15 acts showcasing a variety of talents. The crowd was blown away by the incredible performances of our students! We are proud of every student participant! Finishing in the Top 3 were as follows: in first place The Devils Backbone (Kaiden Clark, Jayce Collins, Roman Fitzgerald, and Billy Humphrey), followed by Colton Cassidy in 2nd place and Kenley Lykins in 3rd place! Congratulations to all performers!!! Also, a big THANK YOU to Miss Mutter and Mr. Fogle for all of their hard work in organizing the event!
This evening, our students participated in the Preble County Geography Bee at National Trail. We are very proud of both teams. Isaiah Cunningham and Botley New represented the Elementary while Maxwell Back, Emma Hatton, Blayne Nelson, and Bryce Osborne represented the Middle School. Congratulations to all participants!
Our 8th grade students attended the Career Exploration Days at MVCTC. Students were able to tour the campus and visit the various programs. They also had the opportunity to work in the Career Expo Lab where they experienced hands-on job simulations. We value our partnership with the MVCTC in preparing our students for life beyond high school.
Mrs. Heinkel's science class has a sweet Valentine treat today before getting to work. ❤️❤️
On Monday, the 5th graders participated in the "Shelter In Place" program presented by the Local Emergency Planning Committee of Preble County. The program teaches students what to do if a toxic or airborne biological agent is released in the neighborhood.
Congratulations to our MS Geography Bee winners! They will be competing at the County Geography Bee on February 20th at National Trail.

Students in Mrs. Gevedon’s 6th grade Social Studies classes have been learning about the Paleolithic Age. Students studied how people of this prehistoric time period survived, including their use of stone tools and weapons, the development of simple huts, and their need to migrate in order to hunt and gather food for group members. They also studied aspects of cave art. Students virtually explored cave paintings dating back over 25,000 years and identified the most common topics of cave paintings, which included hunted animals and handprints. They then used this knowledge to create their own representations of cave art while in a simulated cave in the classroom.
